Swiss Progress

Hello once again!  Just a quick post of the terminally slow progress on my Swiss army.
I have to give credit when it is due:  this post is inspired by the excellent Bernese Swiss figures Simon did over on his blog:

also I have to give some props to Dean now that he is finally back to painting at his astonishing rate:

I owe too much inspiration to the both of you!  Keep it coming, please!!

Anyway, here are some of my recent figures:

 Schwyz Halberd
 Zug musician
 Handgunner, from just about anywhere...
 Schwyz Pikeman
 Fribourg Pikeman
 Unterwalden Ensign
 Fribourg Ensign
 Unterwalden Standard bearer
 Two Lucerne Halberds
Lucerne Captain and Halberd.

My project has fallen a bit into disarray and splintered into all the various factions.   This wasn't intentional, just the result of painting too much in one color scheme.  I swear the next batch needs to be non uniform colors so i can have some fun experimenting!

Until then, I hope you all enjoy!

  1. I'm enjoying this project. You're certainly putting in a lot of research and the results show it.
